Boards want AI on operations data. Security will not approve a copilot that cannot prove what it called, or an autonomous agent with production credentials.
What to run instead
Attach a governed AI agent to one exception workflow. Load a tenant skill, propose the merge or retry, pause for approval, then execute under guardrails.
Measure exception cycle time and the share of cases with approval before systems run. Expand only after that path is trusted.
